Joseph W. Cloud, Associate
Joseph W. Clouds practice concentrates on commercial litigation, particularly construction litigation and insurance disputes. Joseph also litigates wrongful death and personal injury cases, property tax appeals, quiet title actions, commercial lease disputes, as well as other commercial and government issues, and practices adoption law.
Joseph received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2008. At law school, Joseph chaired the Student Bar Association fundraising committee and was an editor of the Virginia Sports and Entertainment Law Journal. Joseph is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Henry County Bar Association. Following law school and prior to working at Hecht Walker, Joseph was the Staff Attorney to the Honorable Brian J. Amero, Judge of the Superior Court of Henry County. Joseph is currently theÂ President of the Henry County Bar Association.
Joseph graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia Honors Program in 2004 with a B.A. in political science and a B.A. in Philosophy. After graduation, Joseph worked in fundraising for a U.S. Senate candidate in the primary and general elections. After the campaign and prior to attending law school, he worked in the Legislative Affairs Division of the Georgia Administrative Office of the Courts.
